This course provides students with a foundation of financial practices associated with the sports industry. Analysis of financial statements, risk, time value of money, financial ratios, budgeting, debt and equity financing, facility financing, park and recreation agencies, feasibility studies, and other relevant financial matters associated with college athletics and professional sports.
