BIO-251 Commercial Practices Used In the Cultivation of Cannabis Species 3 Credit(s) 2 Lab Hour(s) 2 Lecture Hour(s) This course will explore the controlled atmosphere production facilities for medical cannabis (greenhouse and Growth Chamber) and field production of industrial hemp. The environmental, biological, chemical and cultural practices used in cannabis cultivation will be discussed and demonstrated under greenhouse and field conditions. Student projects and hands on research will be a significant portion of the laboratory sessions
Prerequisite(s): HRT-102 ; HRT-232
