SUR-210 Principles and Practice of Surgical Technology III 3 Credit(s) 3 Lecture Hour(s)
This course is the final level in the surgical technology sequence which continues to focus on anatomy, physiology, pathophysiology and surgical interventions.
Emphasis is placed on validation of knowledge through didactic review and clinical skills performance.
Additionally, principles of surgical intervention, surgical case management, and the various needs of surgical patient will be reinforced. Critical thinking exercises, patient care scenarios, and discussions will be utilized.
Prerequisite(s): SUR-106 ; SUR-204 . Corequisite(s): SUR-212 ; SUR 214 .
