SOC-120 Sociology of Gender Roles 3 Credit(s) 3 Lecture Hour(s) This course is a study of the changing roles of men and women in contemporary society. Topics of the discussion covered include the biological bases for differentiation in gender roles, male and female roles in a cross-cultural perspective, changing expectations for men and women in work and sports, the sexual revolution, and the consequences of gender role change.
