INF-230 Advanced Multimedia 3 Credit(s) 2 Lab Hour(s) 2 Lecture Hour(s) This project-based course investigates selected areas of digital multimedia in depth. Students will work singly and collaboratively on projects that include subsets of the following: text as a visual design element, 2D bitmap and vector graphics, 3D modeling and animation, audio production, and video production. Open-source and commercial software tools will be used. Emphasis will be on mastery of underlying technologies, processes, techniques, and standards to achieve efficiency and optimization. Some projects may also involve the use of scripting.
