SOC-103 Sociology of the Family

This course is a study of the oldest and most fundamental social institution. This course analyzes various types of courtship, parenting, human sexuality, marital breakup, and family patterns. Family life is viewed from the perspective of society and of the individual. Students are encouraged to examine their own family patterns in relation to the broad range of possibilities that are discussed.
